The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to permit the emergency use of the unapproved products, Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccineand Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent (Original and Omicron BA.4/BA.5)2, for active immunization to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 6 months of age and older.

FDA EUA (emergency use authorization) update – no longer need positive Covid test result for PAXLOVID (nirmatrelvir) or LAGEVRIO (molnupiravir).

Unclear how to differentiate Covid from other URIs.

NOVOVAX Covid-19 Vaccine expiring end of February. Ordering for product has been discontinued.

VRBTAC (vaccines and related biologic products advisory committee) recommends harmonizing vaccine strains into a single vaccination dose, likely to start September 2023. Net new vaccinations will be two doses and annual booster for those already with a prior vaccinations will be a single does injection mirroring Influenza vaccines.
